Sign droughts

I am in a sign drought. It’s been nearly a month since my last sign. Therefore, since I have no new examples of CMPEs to share with you, I thought I would share some thoughts on the issue of CMPE droughts.

As I’ve mentioned before, between my wife and I, we have about one CMPE a week. The frequency with which they come has allowed us to heavily rely upon them. It’s like they are an old friend you can count on to drop by frequently and give you their advice.

We therefore really feel the absence when a longer dry stretch goes by. It’s not that rare to have a month or six weeks go by without a sign. What causes these droughts? I don’t know, but I don’t think it is any of the answers we would readily come up with.

I don’t think it has anything to do with our consciousness or level of attunement. It is just not the case that when they come fast and thick we are more spiritually in tune, while during the droughts we are in some sort of ”lower vibration.” I honestly don’t see any correlation there at all.

I don’t think it is because we aren’t looking for them. I look for them all the time and follow up on possible CMPEs. During this last month I have more than once sat down and made a list of parallels for a sign that, in the end, didn’t pan out.

I definitely don’t think it is about level of need. My need for a sign in the last month has been intense. I have been praying for one, something I rarely do, yet I’ve still had no success. Where are they?

This may sound strange, but I actually think the real answer involves some sort of “weather pattern.” The reason I say this, aside from the fact that it doesn’t seem tied to anything on my end, is that sign droughts are almost always followed by sign downpours. If a month or longer has gone by, then once the drought is over, I can usually expect a spate of them within the next week or so. It’s as if they are catching up. It’s very strange. For example, here are all the droughts I have had in the last three years.

  • 1-month drought, followed by 4 signs in 10 days
  • 8-week drought (with 1 sign in the middle of that), followed by 4 in 7 days
  • 1-month drought, followed by 4 in 10 days
  • 5-week drought (with 1 sign in the middle), followed by 3 in 8 days
  • 7-week drought, followed by 5 in 11 days

Isn’t that odd? Periods of unusual scarcity of signs followed by periods of unusual abundance. During the former periods, you are dying for a sign, on anything. During the latter periods, they get annoying. You are overwhelmed.

That’s why I think there is some sort of weather pattern we are dealing with here. And just like I can’t make it rain (or if I can, I have no idea how), so I don’t seem able to affect this weather pattern. It seems as if all I can do is wait for the rain to come back.

Thank you Robert, My time is spent on MIRACLES almost entirely. The book that is. I can understand your almost scientific interest in CMPE, but my interest in this has not started. Maybee I just find it hard to understand. It might be my language barrier in the way.
    Kurt.
