Actually, Val, I love The Lion King, and, as it turns out, little Michael is obsessed with it these days. I also love the Rafiki character, who was definitely created to be a cross between a shaman and a guru. I just think the whole “circle of life” philosophy, in which the lions eat the antelope and then die, become the grass, and get eaten BY the antelopes, is a great example of attempted inspiration that turns into depression if really looked at. “Oh, great, we are all joined togethe because we all eat each other. How wonderful!” But of course, you aren’t supposed to look in Disney movies for deep philosophical meaning.

How about your relationships, Robert – holy or otherwise – even perhaps what might first seem perhaps the most unlikely of them?

I remember you writing some time back that although your two older kids were obsessed with the Lion King shortly after it came out, you yourself were not all that impressed, thinking that the circle or cycle of life was mostly about “living for lunch” – or something along those lines – and me thinking that you (and later also Greg Mackie) were a bit “off” on that particular perception, and indeed recommended to you later that you might want to also take in Lion King 2, which highlighted forgiveness as its major message. But I don’t know if you ever got around to that.

And what about “Rafiki” taking on the role of a joyful but always “mischievous” Holy Spirit!?

Perhaps you, Nicola, and your entire family (on both continents) might care to take a second look?

Meanwhile, thank you for alerting me to that Swedish movie, “As It Is in Heaven.” Hadn’t heard of it before, but most definitely will be making a point of seeing it some time soon!

Dear Robert, You handeled this issu extreamly well! I think this might be a very sensitive issu also within our own circle. Might be, I have no evidence.
You also seam to handle your own life and destiny very well, according my understanding. I had one possible CMPE a short time ago but I was not watchfull, and the details disappeard. Now my mind is opened!
IN my mind I am trying to bo bless your situation. Where did we meet on the track, That i like to remember. BEST Kurt.

Like Gregory, I agree that your logic makes sense – and, for me, it almost invariably has over the course of our 25-year-or-so relationship.

However, what I’d like you to take a very close look at whenever you next find yourself guided to do so is the “Times are still tough and that does affect us very directly” statement, primarily because that statement seems to me to be something of an unexamined projection, is it not? And therefore untrue?

I have an intuitive feeling (which sometimes passes for “guidance” with me) that the “imaginal cells” of the Circle of Atonement are in place to soon transform the Circle as we have come to know it into some kind of an international and/or global ACIM university – which I think you are destined to become – and that I would like to help you achieve that goal, and most particularly at the financial level.

So – please – perish all thoughts to the contrary!

More to follow on the ACIM university thought above at a later date.

TO YOUR England. You lucky guyes! You are truley blessed by GOD. That is understood by the communication you are getting.
I will not put any further evaluation on this. Except that it has nothing to do with “luck”.
It seams to me that this CMPE is very clear and free from missunderstandings. Kurt.
